It's a baby goat! We have been studying goats and I'm sure the kids will be disappointed that they missed him.
He even checked out the classroom. Where are all the kids? (pun intended here)
I guess all the kids went home:(
At Friday's in-service my favorite Swanton teacher, Tonya Caswell and I presented our science curriculum to our district's first grade teachers. It was quick, informative and productive, a nice way to end the week.
Here I am sharing some great sites for all of our science topics.
Here is Tonya getting ready to present. Great job, my friend.
Oops! Caught her having a little fun! Thanks, again Tonya for your expertise.

We also Skyped this week with Mrs. Hilton's first grade class. We each got a chance to share some of the things we are each learning. Mrs. Hilton's class was excited to share Dr. Seuss with us.
Here is Mrs. Hilton's graph showing her class' favorite Dr. Seuss book, The Lorax.
I just love their new class mascot of the Lorax. He's so cute.
Have a terrific week! Thanks for stopping by.
Look at all of those wonderful books you have for science! I keep forgetting to ask you if your class will teach us the Matter rap. Thanks for including us in your blog post. We love Skyping with you! :)
ReplyDeleteHello Year 1 Smarties. We're the Year 3/4 Smarties in Australia! Someone who was looking for our blog found yours and told our teacher, Mrs G, about it! We think it's cool that there is another class in the world with the same name. You really must be as smart as us :)
